Firstly – our sincere thanks to each of you. For us, every one of you is special, and we truly appreciate your loyalty. It is you who make us what we are, and we do our best to ensure that, issue after issue, we provide you with what you enjoy, to bring you a smile!
The last few years, and particularly the last one, has presented many challenges – feelings and passions have been aroused, freedom and democracy tested, sentiments delicately balanced. Each day in some part of the world – some further and others closer to home, emotions have been put to the test. It is a challenging time, yet one of reflection, careful consideration and deep thought, before any action.
As we move into 2020 and the new decade there is new hope, but greater demands on each of us. We proceed into an era where many traditional jobs may become obsolete or, at minimum, the requirement may reduce drastically. As automation advances, many actions and activities are being supplemented, or sometimes even replaced by robotic machines. The world will change exponentially, and everyone must adapt to the change, to progress and prosper.
As this issue, like each of our Anniversary issues, is published just after Republic Day, I convey the warmth and thanks of our entire team to all of those in our country who serve for the betterment of the nation and its people. This means not just the soldiers, air warriors and seamen, the farmer and other honest workers, but especially those who give of themselves to serve those who are in need.
A lot of hard work, both individual and teamwork, dedication and care have gone into the making of this issue! We sincerely hope you will enjoy it.
With kind regards and best wishes for the year ahead.

I still remember almost 14 years and well 600 issues ago when I felt the absence, and hence the need to create a stylish, authentic, innovative, and conscious lifestyle magazine. It would be personal for some, yet cater to the desires of a wider audience. This was not a small feat and took an extraordinary team. Bringing together like-minded, passionate game changers, and speciality style makers with their own strengths and attributes – delivering inspiration, continuing to ask the questions, ‘why?’ and ‘why not?’ In a world full of replication and imitation, we wanted to do something different – something that would stand out and be authentic. We hope, you – our readers – have enjoyed our journey, and hope that you will continue to travel with us as we proceed into the next decade!
As we look to the future, with this issue, we know there is plenty to present – pictures that capture desires and feeling, special people, great articles and discussions to come. Who better to start with in this special issue, than the man who is and will continue to be Bollywood’s best entertainer – Salman Khan?! Read all about him in our Cover Story.
I also convey heartfelt thanks to my dear friend, Chhaya Momaya, for her continued support and for making this interview happen. As one of the country’s leading life coaches and image consultants, Chhaya needs no special introduction from us. She has a larger-than-life persona, a refreshing take on brand imagery and grooming prowess, and an intimate relationship with the crème de la crème. We are very pleased to present her to all of you – she is our very own Celebrity Contributor.
