Indian dance choreographer and actor Prabhu Deva will be seen for the first time in a silent thriller film “Mercury”, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Jayantilal Gada.
“Mercury” is a silent film with no dance numbers and dialogues. The main backdrop of the movie is a ghost town, whose population died due to mercury poisoning. The film revolves around the story of five friends who cannot speak, and as they plan on a night out the story unfolds itself when they find Prabhu Deva’s dead body on an isolated road. The film features Sananth Reddy, Deepak Paramesh, Shashank Purushotham, Anish Padmanabhan, Indhuja and Gajaraj in pivotal roles.
The makers of the film unveiled the trailer and it is slated to release on 13th April 2018.
