Voicemails for Isabelle will star Hailee Steinfeld!

Actress Hailee Steinfeld is all set to star in Voicemails for Isabelle, which is a romantic comedy. The script is by Leah McKendrick, and is a rom-com for the 21st century, centering down on a young lady who is navigating the dating scene in LA.

The movie will be produced by Escape Artists’ Becky Sanderman, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tish, and Todd Black. The director of Bridget Jones’ Diary and Bridget Jones’ Baby – Sharon Maguire is in final negotiations to helm the project. In 2008, Maguire also directed Incendiary, which starred Michelle Williams and Ewan McGregor.

Hailee Steinfeld was last seen in Bumblebee, which was a spin-off of Transformers. She also voice-starred as Spider-Gwen in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
