Popular American singer Tyrese Gibson will be seen playing the lead role in late singer-songwriter Teddy Pendergrass's biopic.
Teddy Pendergrass was raised by a single mother in Philadelphia. In the early 1970's, he was the lead singer of The Blue Notes & Harold Melvin, and soon after he rose to fame as an R&B solo artist with five consecutive platinum albums.
This film will be produced by Donald De Line, Gibson and Lee Daniels. The screenplay of the movie will be written by Little Marvin. This untitled film will narrate the story of one of the legendary R&B solo artist.
Teddy Pendergrass is known for songs like "Hold Me", "I Don't Love You Anymore", "Come Go With Me", "Two Hearts", "Love", "Cold, Cold World" and many more.
