Trends of 2015

Whether it was the nineties takeover that caught your attention or the fabulous fringe and edgy flatform shoes, we’ve rounded up trends to take away from this fashion year, both on the runway and off it.
1.    90’s Lips
Nineties wine-hued lipstick reigned 2015 and the texture were everything between soft, matte to glossy – in short, a sophisticated, but sultry Bordeaux pout.
Coloured Suede
2.    Coloured Suede
With the hot climate that had set a rather trickier backdrop, this year the fashion world saw the suede offering an alternative route into the retro mood. From softly coloured suede trenches, skirts, and pants to capes – both real and faux – the feather-light fabric was everywhere.
3.    Fringe
While some trends come and go, there are a few chic and edgy trends that always seem to make a seasonal comeback. That's right. Fringe was back. Only, this time, it found a new home in your wardrobe on everything from sophisticated separates like blazers and playful skirts to weekend essentials like fringed suede cape and shoes. Yep, it was Fringe-tastic!
4.    Off-shoulder
Flashing a little flesh, the off-shoulder dresses and tops were a must have for the in between weather. Proving themselves as an elegant alternative to the crop top, we’re loving the look with culottes and midi skirts.
Stacked rings
5.    Stacked Rings
Admit it — Stacked rings are chic, bold and effortlessly cool at the same time. No wonder it continues to rule the fashion world.  Tip: stack multiple rings on one finger, keep a finger bare and mix texture, shape, metal and color to keep it interesting.
Flatform Shoes
6.     Flatform Shoes
It's hard for a shoe to feel edgy, fashion forward and practical to wear at the same time, which is why we were psyched when flatform shoes made a comeback in a completely modern way – flatform way. Clunky in shape, statement-making in style and manageable in addition, it was the perfect complement to an array of looks.
