Aloe is rich in anti-inflammatory properties and it promotes circulation and restricts the growth of bacteria. It is quite simple to use aloe vera, all you have to do is take pure aloe vera gel and gently apply it on the affected area.
3. Honey- Another effective home remedy to cure first and second- degree burns is applying honey on the affected area. Due to the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, honey helps to ease out some of the pain as it sterilizes the burn and prevents further infection.
Home remedies to avoid: There are certain home remedies, which a few people believe are the best ways to cure a burn but the truth is they are not only ineffective but could even worsen the condition. Some of these ineffective remedies are : ice, oils, butter, and toothpaste.
