Top Three home remedies to get rid of uneven skin tone

One of the major changes that we all notice as we start aging is uneven skin tone. It is also triggered due to Pimples, pigmentation and scar marks. Uneven tone makes the skin appear darker and pale than the other parts of the body. Although we all are aware of the fact that a little bit of primer, concealer and foundation is all that takes to hide those uneven spots, but why to use them when you can get a flawless skin with these effective home remedies. 

Three home remedies- 

1.Aloe Vera - Aloe Vera is used in a lot of home remedies as it is an effective ingredient to cure various skin ailments. The gel which is extracted from the Aloe Vera leaves treats uneven skin tone and moisturises the skin. 

How to apply: Take a few leaves of aloe Vera and squeeze out the gel. Now apply this gel to the affected areas and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then rinse it off with water. Repeat this process atleast twice a week to notice effective results. 

2.Baking Soda- Baking soda is another effective remedy for treating uneven skin tone. Baking soda is also known to be an excellent solution for whitening teeth. As far as the skin is concerned, baking soda acts as skin exfoliator, removes dry skin and helps you get a beautiful skin tone.  

How to apply: Take one teaspoon of baking soda and add some water, until it turns into a paste. Now take this mixture and apply on your body or face (the affected areas). Leave it on for a few minutes. Then gently scrub the damaged area for about 3 minutes and rinse with water.    

3.Papaya- Apart from being one of the delicious yet healthy fruits, it is also known to treat various skin problems. Papaya contains an enzyme called Papain, which helps to fight against dead skin cells, removes excess oil and redness. Due to its bleaching properties it is used to cure uneven skin tone.

How to apply: Papaya can be incorporated into your diet or it can be applied directly on your skin. Take a piece of raw papaya and gently rub it on the areas that are most affected or even the entire face. Leave on for atleast 30 minutes and rinse it off with cold water.
