Tofu Roll
Ingredients For marinate Lemon Juice Salt Tofu Chilli powder Turmeric powder Yogurt Ginger garlic paste Mint leaves Coriander leaves For filling Capsicum Onions Tomato Oil For the roll Salt Pepper Egg Roti Mint chutney |
Qty 1/2 tbsp a pinch 200 grams 1 tsp 1/4 tsp 2 tbsp 1/2 tsp a few a few a few a few 1 1 tbsp as per taste as per taste 1 1 - 2 to spread |
Method:
• Take a large mixing bowl, take tofu, add turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice, garam masala powder, chilli powder, yogurt, mint, ginger garlic paste and coriander leaves. Mix all of these ingredients well. Let is marinate for about an hour
• Pressure cook the tofu. Now sauté some capsicum, onions and tomatoes. Add the cooked tofu pieces and cook till the water evaporates.
• In a mixing bowl, beat an egg with a pinch of pepper and salt.
• Take a frying pan, place a roti and on it pour the egg. Flip the roti and turn off the flame.
• Now, take this roti, place the tofu filling in the centre and wrap it. Serve it with some mint chutney or ketchup.
