Tips for Brides to look their best on their big day!

One of the most important things on your wedding day is to look stunning and gorgeous. Brides start dieting and exercising months in advance to look the way they’ve always dreamt of looking and a lot goes into getting things in order. Eating the right food, exercising adequately, and getting plenty of rest can complement to a beauty regime to ensure that you face no unwanted hiccups. So here are some things you can do to ensure that you look your best despite the stress.

Diet

• Chamomile tea is a popular relaxant. Use a couple of teabags to ensure you get your beauty sleep, anxiety-free.

• Drink lemon juice with water in the morning and mineral water in the afternoon.

• Greens are great for the body, and kale is loaded with all the vitamins your body needs to make your skin shine

• Get your daily dosage of dairy. Milk is high in antioxidants, calcium and protein, and reduces blood pressure and stress spasms..

• Beetroot is great for the skin thanks to its high levels of potassium, and vitamins A and E. It also eliminates toxins from the body and lowers cholesterol.

• Green tea is one of the healthiest drinks you can have, and it’s great for your scalp and skin.

Beauty:

• A good 8hours of sleep is always vital.

• Now is not the time to experiment with hair or skin care products. The closer you get to your wedding day, the more careful you should be about the chemicals you allow your scalp and skin to be exposed to.

• We advise against washing your hair on the day of your wedding. A day before works perfectly, as the hair’s natural oils help stylists work better.

• Though most brides opt for facials before their weddings, it’s a tricky thing. You can’t be certain that a facial will work in your favor; sometimes, it’s just not what your skin needs.

• Never sleep with makeup on! It’s easy to get lazy, especially since you’re awaiting a wedding, but don’t neglect this vital step

Fitness

• If you want to achieve positive results, you must stay actively engaged.

• A good mix of cardio and resistance exercises is aerobics, crunches and push-ups.  Muscle weighs more than fat, so you may gain a bit of scale weight.
