Smoothies for glowing skin

You are pampering your skin with essential oils and at-home facials, but yet you're not seeing the desired results. Wondering what is the best way to ensure your skin is smooth and healthy? Besides the skincare rituals, it is also essential to keep a tab on what you're feeding your body and skin.

According to some studies there is a link between your digestive system and your skin. Most people don’t realise the fact that one of the ways to ensure your skin is healthy and glowing is to keep your gut away from all the unwanted bacteria. It's very essential to understand the importance of gut health not just for your skin but also for your overall wellness.

Did you know one of the best foods to keep your gut and skin healthy are smoothies. Smoothies are a great way to ensure that you're feeding your gut with all the essential nutrients while at the same time you're also allowing your gut to rest. Just like how we give rest to our body after a tiring day at work, it is also important to give a break to your digestive system. Smoothies also provide nutrients for your digestive system, which further help in cleansing out the bad bacteria. Since most smoothies are made from natural ingredients like fruits and vegetables, they are also an essential source of energy.
