During summers, afternoons at work can be the most challenging part of the day as staying awake seems impossible. If you are fighting the same battle, here are some simple tips to refresh your senses.

Chew gum:

This is a simple one. When you chew gum, flavours like peppermint and cinnamon can awaken your senses and stop you feeling like a sloth.

Refresh:

Get up, take a walk and wash your face. This will give your body the boost it needs to get rid of your fatigue. Keep spraying some rose water on your face as well. This will act as a natural toner and keep you refreshed.

Scent It Up:

Either spray some room freshner or keep an essential oil at work. When you feel sleepy, just add a few drops of the oil to your body lotion and apply it on your pulse points. The strong fragrance will wake up your olfactory senses, thereby waking the rest of your body as well.

Hydrate:

Just drinking some infused water or tea with flavours like lemon and mint should rejuvenate you and help you work faster. What’s more? Keeping yourself hydrated will also result in a healthy skin this summer.
