Popular actor Seth Rogen and screenwriter Evan Goldberg are to soon produce a limited series named Console Wars. Legendary Television has closed a deal to develop the show which will be based on the Blake J. Harris novel called Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo and the Battle that Defined a Generation. The books take a behind-the-scene look at how Sega took on the video-game giant Nintendo which revolutionized the video game industry.
Jordan Vogt-Roberts is to helm the project t along with Milke Rosolio. The two are to join forces to write the pilot. The deal had already gone through in 2014, with Rogen and Goldberg signing on to write and direct the interesting concept and transform it into a movie. Rogen revealed that a documentary version would come out before the duo starts working on the movie. Another fun fact is that this series will mark the Superbad actor and Goldberg’s newest TV project. They have also worked on shows like AMC’s Preacher and Future Man for Hulu. They are also currently working on Black Monday and The Boys.
