Reboots of Home Alone and Night At The Museum in the pipeline

Hollywood hits like Home Alone and Night At The Museum are all set to get their reboot versions for the new generation. Bob Iger – the Chairman and CEO of Walt Disney Company, revealed the decision. This is a part of an initiative to revisit the classics from the Fox catalogue that it recently acquired for Disney+, which is a new streaming platform that is scheduled to be launched in November. The others in the pipeline are Cheaper By The Dozen and Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. Bob Iger says, “These reboots would be reimagined for a new generation.”

Home Alone was released in 1990 and starred Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister – an eight-year-old boy, accidently left behind when his family goes on a vacation to Paris. The whole movie revolves around his adventures, while he tries to foil a robbery attempt in his house. On the other hand, Night At The Museum starred actors Ben Stiller and late Robin Williams. The movie narrated an interesting tale of what happens when the museum exhibits come to life at night.            - IANS
