Spring Strawberry Salad
2 cups of strawberries
3 cups of salad greens (iceberg lettuce or Chinese cabbage)
1½ tbsp white vinegar
½ tbsp honey
2 tsp hazel or pine nuts
1 tsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Chop the salad greens and cut the strawberries into quarters. Mix together the white vinegar, honey and olive oil. Add a little water for consistency. Season with salt and pepper according to taste. Pour over the strawberries and greens and toss well. Sprinkle the nuts on top, and it’s all ready to be eaten.
