Princess Charlotte Starts Nursery School

Princess Charlotte, youngest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, started nursery school and Kensington Palace shared two photographs of the young princess on social media.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning," the caption read. "The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School."

The two-year-old royal sported the cutest outfit: a red coat, pink scarf, gray tights, red Mary Janes, a Cath Kidston pink backpack, and a little red bow in her hair.

Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their 2-year-old daughter would attend the school in their Christmas card, released in December. Her older brother, Prince George, attended preschool at Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk. The children expected to have a new younger sibling in April.
