Hosted by Chris Rock, The 88th Academy Awards were held on Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, televised live by the ABC Television Network. Host Chris Rock opened the show and held nothing back on the #OscarsSoWhite controversy.
