The world’s largest social networking website Facebook in order to target the millennial users has been adding new features to Instagram. Competing against Snapchat, Facebook owned app Instagram has added quirky face tracking filters to its camera tool, similar to that offered by Snapchat.
The new feature added to Instagram enables users to choose from a wide variety of filters, which include moving and twitching koala ears, math equations spinning around your head, along with golden goddess crown and bunny ears. The way this new feature works is quite simple, users have to swipe into the camera and tap the new icon, which is located in the bottom right corner. Users can take pictures, videos or boomerang and add these face filters to create a humorous effect. Hashtags can be added to the stories, via hashtag stickers or text. Another feature added to Instagram is a rewind mode for videos, this allows users to play videos in a reverse mode.
