High end fashion company, Net-a-Porter launched a brand new medium, Net Sustain, which sheds light upon sustainable brands and helps shoppers identify ethically made products.
The net sustain consists of 26 brands. This new platform is made visible on Net-a-Porter's website. New collection will be launched every season. This season's collection is from brands like: Maggie Marilyn, Mother of Pearl x BBC Earth and Stella McCartney. The net sustain consists of over 500 products. Each of the products that are available on Net Sustain are designed in such a way that they meet at least one of the key points under sustainable rules: Reducing waste, locally made, considered materials and considered processes.
The Net-a-porter instagram page announced its new platform for promoting sustainable brands by sharing a picture. The image caption reads, "WELCOME TO #NETSUSTAIN: Our platform for considered, authentic and innovative brands, products and content – a celebration of creativity that's driven by a desire to make fashion more sustainable. @motherofpearl focuses on traceability across their entire supply chain – designer @amy_powney is committed to sourcing more sustainable fibres for her collections.
