1. Grind the corn kernels and soaked and drained channa dal, along with green chillies and ginger to a coarse paste, adding a couple of tsp of water. Put all of it in a bowl, add ¼ cups of boiled sweet corn, chopped onions, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, and salt; and mix it well.
2. Form balls with the mixture, flatten it on your palm to make patties, and refrigerate it for 10 minutes. Heat oil for deep frying, and once it’s hot, reduce the flame to medium and slowly place the patties in the oil. Fry them to a golden-brown and serve hot.
