The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is a retired American actress who became a member of the British royal family upon her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018. She was born as Rachel Meghan Markle in 1981 and was popular for her portrayal of Rachel Zane on the American legal drama series Suits. She was also seen in the movie Horrible Bosses as Jamie.
Meghan has received a lot of recognition for her sense of fashion and style as a royal icon, as well as in her role as editor-in-chief of her passion project, a fashion and lifestyle magazine called The Tig. She also released two collections of clothing in 2016, which sold out in no time. Meghan Markle has mentioned her style inspiration to be Emmanuelle Alt. She once said in an interview with Glamour that she favoured “that French way of styling, where if your outfit is pulled together, then something’s got to be dishevelled – your hair, your makeup”.
As a young woman, Meghan maintained a relaxed California-girl style put together with jeans and casual footwear. Currently, she is often seen carrying off streamlined dresses in neutral colours with boat-neck necklines. While she prefers monochromatic and tonal dressing, she has donned outfits and ensembles created by a wide variety of designers. - Pic: Genevieve for Wikimedia Commons
