The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has been in the news for reasons other than her royal connection, namely for her incredible fashion sense. Although the former Suits actress has been criticized for a few recent fashion choices due to some royal family rules that she failed to adhere to, we still have to say that Markle’s got style! As always, she did not disappoint when she turned up for the women’s Wimbledon final on July 14th, but apparently the outfit was not just any outfit – the Duchess adorned it to honour her new hubby, Prince Harry. The 26-year-old showed up with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, dressed in a blue and white striped button down shirt by designer Ralph Lauren, pairing it with white pants for a classic and elegant look. Although this is not common knowledge, the designer has a little part to play in Prince Harry and Markle’s love story. Meghan attended the Wimbledon for the first time in 2016, which was around the time she met her Prince. It came out that she attended the event because she was one of the famous designer’s guests. And not just that, but Prince Harry’s lifelong friend Violet von Westenholtz works as a PR for Ralph and she is the cupid who set the future royal couple up! The 36-year-old’s sweet gesture signifies that the two have a very close and loving relationship and ended up giving fans even more couple goals.
The lovebirds have been seen out and about in public eye quite a bit after their huge royal wedding. Meghan made her very first appearance all alone with Queen Elizabeth on June 14th. It was a ceremony for the commemoration of the opening of the Mersey Gateway Bridge. Markle’s calm and likeable demeanor has already made her one of our royal favourites!
