Meera Gandhi awarded the 'Most Influential: Global Humanitarian' award at the Masala! Most Influential party at Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa in recognition of her works with the Giving Back Foundation. The award was part of a celebration of the Most Influential issue - a collectors' edition - that featured South Asian achievers from India, UAE, the UK, and USA.

The Giving Back Foundation, Meera Gandhi, ITP and Masala magazine and several other sponsors including Splash and Kala beauty in Dubai hosted an important event to felicitate the 100 most influential change makers throughout the UAE at The Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa Dubai last night. The idea is to bring together like minded leaders to keep making the planet a better place mentally, spiritually and physically.

It was noteworthy that The Giving Back Foundation and Splash and ITP group have joined hands to work towards mental wellness and alleviating sickness and poverty on the planet. Meera Gandhi and The Giving Back Foundation will now actively work together with ITP and Splash looking at several future projects in the Middle East and Dubai as Expo 2020 races to bring the world closer. Meera Gandhi and Masala Magazine headlined the event and Meera spoke about the need of alleviating basic needs of education, health, shelter for all while keeping in mind happiness and mental wellness are very important human necessities that need to be addressed simultaneously.

The venue overlooking the well-known Dubai fountains set against the iconic backdrop of the Burj Khalifa made a strong statement to stay committed to the goals of human positivity, mental wellness and global equality in a world where many people grow more despondent each day instead of waking up optimistic and energized. In attendance were UAE’s finest influencers including His Royal Highnesses Yaqoob Ali, Mohammed and Jameel. Celebrity publicist Rohini Iyer from Mumbai , Anil Bhoyrul from London and Bolivia, Hunter Lee from Monaco, Caroline Lieberman from NYC and Vimi Joshi of Mac cosmetics UAE and many others attended the stunning event which was teaming with glitterati from all over the world.

The Giving Back Foundation and Meera Gandhi including her family who were present at the event reinforced the message that equality for all and peace of mind and happiness was essential to enjoy the short journey of life on this planet. Masala magazine launched a special issue with the top influencers from UAE with Meera Gandhi’s bio and picture leading the pack.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Photos Mohammed Jaffer /Snapsindia
