Madonna will perform at 2015’s Brits on 25 February, 20 years since she last took to the stage at the award ceremony in 1995, she belted out her top 5 single Bedtime Stories for fans.

The iconic musician revealed she would take to the stage at the ceremony in London on February 25 via her Twitter page. Posting an image of the BRITs statue with black wire wrapped around its face to mimic her ‘Rebel Heart’ album cover, she wrote: “Hello to all my UK Rebel Hearts!!!! See you at the Brits on Feb 25th #BritsImMadonna #livingforlove #rebelheart (sic).”

The official Brit Awards Twitter page is excited too, posting alongside hearts and smiley emojis: “Just added the one and only @Madonna to the lineup”.

The 56-year-old joins the previously announced performers Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Paloma Faith, George Ezra, Royal Blood and Take That at the ceremony that takes place at London’s O2 Arena on February 25.

Madonna recently confirmed she’d be performing at this year’s Grammy Awards on February 8.

Both the performances precede the official release of her 13th studio album, ‘Rebel Heart’, which will go on sale on March 9.
