Alaya F. shares throwback Kathak video

Budding actress Alaya F, who won wide acclaim with her debut role in Jawaani Jaaneman" earlier this year, is missing her Kathak classes in the time of coronavirus lockdown.

So, the young star has gone ahead and done the next best possible thing. She has posted a throwback video that has her honing up her Kathak moves on Instagram.

"Hopefully when I'm able to go back to Kathak class I'll learn how to keep my feet together during chakkars! But until then, here's this throwback video of me almost falling for 16 seconds @rajendrachaturvedi @gopikrishnakathak," Alaya wrote as caption with the video.

In the video, Alaya attempts a spinning move in Kathak even as she tries keeping her move together.

Katrina's brooming session turns into cricket game!

Katrina Kaif is emerging as Bollywood's Lockdown Star. After her videos of dishwashing, working out, and strumming the guitar trended over the past few days, the actress has now taken to brooming to stay occupied at home.

A video that Katrina posted on Wednesday shows the actress brooming the floors of her home. What's more, once the chore got done, Katrina had other imaginative ideas to put the broom to good use.

She is seen using the broom as a bat, to polish her cricketing skills!

"Day 21 lockdown-One day at a time guys.......we all gotta do our part........ I am apparently @isakaif part is to give commentary and pro tips while seated .. Gotta mix it up ..... this is seriously good exercise btw #stayhome #helpoutathome," she captioned the video, shot by her sister Isabelle.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Katrina will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Rohit Shetty's cop drama "Sooryavanshi". The film was slated to release on March 24, but has been pushed back indefinitely owing to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Romil Chaudhary enjoys family time in Karnal

"Bigg Boss 12" contestant and actor Romil Chaudhary is in Karnal, enjoying spending time with family amidst the 21-day coronavirus lockdown.

"I'm having fun with my family. It's been long since I saw them. Professional commitments keep you busy and your family keeps complaining and asking for your time. I was here in Karnal. After Holi, I was supposed to return to Mumbai but sudden outbreak of COVID-19 made me stay back. I'm glad to be safe in my hometown with my son and wife," he said.

"I request everyone to enjoy time with family and make sure to keep yourselves healthy and listen to the government. Wear masks and wash hands," he added.

Romil was last seen in the Star Plus show "Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum", which also starred "Bigg Boss 12" winner Dipika Kakar.

 

Arti Singh experiments in kitchen

Actress Arti Singh was locked in the "Bigg Boss" house for a few months. Now with Coronavirus confining people to the four walls of their homes, it seems like an extension of the reality show for most. Arti is making the most of it.

She has been documenting her self-quarantine period for her YouTube channel where the actress can be seen cooking and sharing recipes of her favourite dishes.

Giving a glimpse of her cooking skills on Instagram, she posted: "Cooking has always been my passion! You all saw me in the 'Bigg Boss' house cooking for three months and now here I am during lockdown cooking for myself. And so I thought why not share with you guys! Here is a recipe for a delicious, desi style chicken curry! Try it out at home and let me know how you like it."

Arti's sister-in-law, actress Kashmera Shah, commented: "Market main chicken mil raha hai kya (Is chicken available in the market)?"

Paras Chhabra goes out with mom to buy vegetables

With the announcement of a 21-day national lockdown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many were seen doing their best to stock up the essential commodities in their homes. It seems "Bigg Boss 13" contestant Paras Chhabra is among them.

A picture is doing the rounds on the Internet in which Paras can be seen buying vegetables with his mother. Both of them wear masks.

On the work front, Paras was last seen in the Colors' show "Mujhse Shaadi Karoge", which went off air this month.

He also features along with his friend and "Bigg Boss 13" contestant Mahira Sharma in Sonu Kakkar's music video, titled "Baarish". Paras and Mahira made headlines for their chemistry during their stint in the "Bigg Boss" house.          - IANS
