Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow in the epic TV show, Game Of Thrones has reportedly checked himself into a rehab facility to deal with "stress and alcohol use" ahead of the show's ending.
According to a report, the actor has been undergoing, "psychological coaching, practicing mindful meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy to combat stress and deal with negative emotions at the facility, which costs over USD 120,000 a month." In a statement to the CNN, his representative said, "Kit has decided to utilize this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues."
In the past, Harington has openly spoken about his struggles with fame and emotional instability after the show’s ending. In an interview to Esquire, he said, "My final day of shooting, I felt fine . . . I felt fine . . . I felt fine. . . Then I went to do my last shots and started hyperventilating a bit. Then they called, 'Wrap!' And I just f***ing broke down. It was this onslaught of relief and grief about not being able to do this again.”
The final season of the show received mixed reviews and the last episode was viewed by 19.3 million people, setting a record for the series.
