Industry mogul Karan Johar shocked everyone when he welcomed his adorable twins last February through surrogacy. But ever since then, his two little ones, Yash and Rooh, have taken over his social media and never fail to induce the ‘aww’s with their videos and pictures. Karan named his two children after his parents, Yash Johar and Hiroo Johar.
Recently, daddy KJo had a “mini meltdown”, revealing in an excitedly uploaded post on his social media that Rooh said her first word, ‘Papa’ which is a huge moment in any parents’ life. "She said "papa"! It's time for my mini meltdown!'' he wrote. Stars such as actor Siddharth Malhotra, Meghna Gulzar and designer Prabul Gurung were among the first few to congratulate the filmmaker. Siddharth expressed his happiness for his friend, writing, "The bestest moment ever for any parent. Can imagine the joy Karan ...so, so happy for you," while Meghna Gulzar wrote, "These are the magical milestones of this wondrous journey! To many more!"
The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director seems to be in a happier place with the twins in his life, as he stated in an interview with PinkVilla. When asked if parenthood has changed him at all, he said, "Well, it hasn't changed me, it just made me happier. If that's a change, then that's a welcome change. I’m just happier and much more satisfied with my existence."
He also added, "It's given me a big reason to live with a certain amount of energy and vigour for the next three decades of my life. I can't wait to see my children grow up around me, with me and for me." Here is wishing the proud father good luck with his two bundles of joy!
