This food court, located on Road No. 12 in Banjara Hills, is the perfect combination of everything great, ideal for those who like a variety of things under one roof.
Jay’s houses several outlets – Rockstone, a well-known ice-cream parlour, and Minerva Coffee are among them. The latter is an open-air restaurant that serves regular and speciality coffees (100% natural roast, dessert coffees by Häagen-Dazs, and filterccino, a fusion of cappuccino and filter coffee). On the menu are sandwiches, soups, subs, salads, macaroons, cake pops, brownies, pastries, takeaways, chaat, juices and South Indian fare. While Minerva is decorated like an English café with open air, fast food, a treehouse and seating made entirely of Bamboo (quite the eco-friendly theme), Rockstone is a cold stone ice cream setup.
The food court is open from 10 am to 11pm, and is a popular joint for its wide choice of food ranging from confectionery and deli products to more traditional South Indian grub. The mild background music and natural light only add to the ambience. Once you’re there, the choices are many – ice cream cakes, dessert coffees, lemonade, subs, Nawabi dosas – you name it!
Proprietor Jagan Mohan Reddy feels that it’s the food and beverage destination for gastronomic fiestas, and franchisors Vishal and Arif wholly agree. The biggest strength of Jay’s is its versatility and variety; pick what you want, when you want, and choose where you sit with ease and comfort. The food provides excellent value for money, too, giving you another reason to pick this place to grab a quick (or long) bite. – Anahita
