Popular Taiwanese consumer electronics company, HTC has launched a new squeezable Smartphone, HTC U11, from the company’s new style centric U-series. The Smartphone is made up of metal and glass body with a glossy back and a finger print-magnet glass slab.
The HTC U11 is available in Brilliant Black and Amazing Silver. It comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD (1440x2560 pixels) Super LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top, the Smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and 2.45GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. As far as the camera is concerned, the rear camera features a 12-megapixel with a 1.4-micron pixel, ultra spread autofocus, BSI sensor, OIS, f/1.7 aperture, dual-LED flash, slow-motion, and 4K video recording, and the front camera comes with 16-megapixel, BSI sensor and Full HD recording.
The biggest attraction of the phone is it brings a unique way to interact by squeezing the sides. Users can send text messages and access the camera by squeezing the metal edges of the Smartphone, the phone allows users to customize the squeeze gestures to short squeeze and squeeze and hold by activating the touch mode feature. Using this unique squeezing feature users can download apps and games on the phone. A 3D liquid glass surface adds to the overall appearance of the phone.
