Hot Apple and Cinnamon Crumble
1. Mix the chilled butter, sugar, 60g of the flour and the almond meal together in a bowl. Flatten it out on a baking tray, and bake it at 180° for 10-15 minutes, till it turns golden and crumbly. The crumble is ready. Cream the butter until it softens, and add the icing sugar in 2-3 parts, and stir till the mixture is light and fluffy. Add in the flour gently, and allow the dough to chill in the fridge.
2. After about an hour, roll it out, line the tarts shells and bake them at 180° until golden. Peel and dice the apples. Cook it in a pan with 1 tbsp of butter, 30 grams icing sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon powder, until the apples become slightly soft. Pour the apple filling into the tart shells, and top with the crumble. Serve it hot.
