The BBCI appointed Rahul Dravid as the head of National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
Rahul played for India between 1996 and 2012. He played 344 ODI's, 164 test matches and one T20I. After retiring from his playing career, from 2015, he served as the coach for India's U-19 men's and India A teams.
Rahul will be serving as the head of the National Cricket Academy for a two year contract. Rahul will look after all the activities related to cricket at the NCA. He will also have to coach, mentor and train players in the right path. Along with these responsibilities, he will also work with National women's and men's coaches and other coaches of all the upcoming teams.
