Dior presented 38 jewellery sets from this new collection at a special dinner held at the elegant Palazzo Labia in Venice, with models dressed in exclusive gowns by the legendary artistic director of Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri.
The celebration appreciated the love for art and the harmony between beauty and jewellery. The collection was named to represent the new Dior pieces of jewellery, and is a play of words as Gem sounds similar to the French phrase J’aime (I love). The most striking item from the collection is a diamond necklace, with a stunning 10.62 carat pink sapphire in the centre, priced at a whopping $2.16 million. - Courtesy: luxatic.com
