Partners Ajay, Karan and Manikishore opened Eat India Company, the latest addition to the successful family of Via Milano and Urban Asia. Currently serving some of the most authentic North Indian food in the city, the restaurant has become a hotspot for food lovers in a span of just four months.
There’s a beautiful gold door that was bought from Rajasthan. Aamir and Hameeda Sharma have ensured that the ambience takes you back in time, so that dining here is an experience, not just a meal. As you walk in, you feel like the decor is a perfect blend of the old world and current times.
The food is cooked under the supervision of a team of expert chefs who specialise in different cuisines like Hyderabadi, Awadhi and Punjabi – for days on end, they work on each recipe ranging from Ajwaini Fish and Galauti Kebab to Lababdar Murg and Warqi Paranthas. Finish your meal with firni, khewa, chocolate kulfi or shahi tukda.
The portions are rather large, and that’s something that’s so on purpose, ensuring that customers leave with some of the excellent food with them.
