Being a well-dressed man today means much more than what it did a few years ago. In this camera-phone age, they dress to get noticed, and we’re not complaining! Men nowadays are equally concerned about looking good and wearing dapper outfits, and hence put in a lot more effort. Thanks to social media and how the awareness has increased, one sees more and more men trying to up their fashion game - and why not?

Former model and now an actor, Farhad Shahnawaz is not only good looking but also one stylish man. With a sculpted body that’s built with a lot of handwork and dedication, he’s extremely particular about the way he  looks. Here’s more about this hunk.

Style vs fashion: My style is my fashion, so definitely style.
Attention to detail: For me, it's all about the details and finesse.

Define fashion: Fashion means not what you wear but how you wear it. The right attitude is more important then  your sense of fashion.
Wardrobe essentials: Classic white shirt, blue jeans, a well fitted black T-Shirt and a well-cut Formal Suit.
Do you shop online: Personally, I wouldn’t say I like shopping online as I like to try the clothes before I buy them but yes, during this pandemic I have been shopping online, mainly my athleisure wear.
Favourite luxury brand: I would say Gucci, fascinated by their styles

Founder of the Hyderabad Wine Society and the Executive Director at Trance Hotels, Suryaveer Singh is one well-dressed man. His relaxed and happy-go-lucky attitude is most often reflected through his smart casual clothes. 

Style vs fashion: Style, of course. Fashion keeps evolving, but the style remains forever. 
Attention to detail: A certain amount - not obsessive amounts

Do you shop online: Yes, I do. It’s usually from H&M, Zara and Monkstory.
Men’s jewellery: In my opinion, it’s not needed. I like to keep it simple.

Do brands matter: Not really- today’s prices of luxury clothing has skyrocketed, and all the nice boutique brands find it harder to enter

Managing Director of the huge fashion house, Neeru’s - Indian Ethnic, it’s obvious that Avnish Kumar is a well-dressed man. His sense of fashion is not just personal but professional, with it being sharp, creative and neat.

Style vs fashion: Style can be learnt or imitated, whereas fashion is something that comes to you naturally is what I feel. So fashion definitely comes first.
Attention to detail: I am a tough man with my clothing and tailoring. Even a 3/4th inch of the wrong alteration for my denims-trousers makes me an annoyed man.
Most fashionable man: I am highly inspired by the men who have played Bond from Pierce Brosnan to Daniel Craig. Those crisp shirts, casual Polos, Classic Tuxedos, exquisite Leather and more are always a takeaway from their flicks.

Businessman Manzoor Alam Khan is definitely one of the hottest men in the city - blessed with good looks, a chiselled body and the gift of the gab; he’s one perfect package. Otherwise laid back and easy going in his personal life, he’s a go-getter when it comes to achieving his goals and targets.

Define fashion: The way I understand fashion is its nature to be sustainable and time-honoured! If you’re able to look good without trying something garish, which would put you in an odd spot when you’re looking at your pictures a decade down the line, then you are doing well for yourself!
Attention to detail: Not very much! But I wouldn’t be found wearing a wrong colour combination or wearing a black belt with tan shoes! If using a pocket square adds that touch to your classic suit is detailing then I am a wee bit detailed!
Most fashionable man: Saif Ali Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and my dad, Zahid Alam Khan.
Wardrobe essentials: Well fitted Jeans, white well-fitted shirt and Flip-flops!
Favourite luxury brand: Brioni for Suits and Ralph Lauren for semi casuals, J Crew and Abercrombie and Fitch for casuals, and 7 For All Mankind for Jeans.
Do brands matter: To be honest, good brands mean good quality most of the time, and they concur to my thought of sustainable fashion… So yes!
Must-have accessory: My watch!

Aviators or wayfarers: If I have to strictly choose than aviators! But I have done wayfarers as well!

Vishal Patny

"Fashion fades, but style is eternal"

Businessman Vishal Patny is a warm and fun person who enjoys the company of his friends. Giving a lot of attention to detail, he’s particular about his textile and fabric, and loves adding colour to his outfits. 

Style vs fashion: Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak. Fashion is what you buy… style is what you do with it.

Define fashion: Fashion to me is about comfort and style… it’s a reflection of one’s personality. I am not a believer in trends. Individuality is more important to stand out.

Most fashionable man: Dwayne Johnson and David Beckham.

Wardrobe essentials: My fitted jeans, belts, T-shirts, shorts and track pants.

Favourite luxury brand: Paul Smith, Canali, HUGO BOSS, Burberry for suits and shirts, Prada, Ferragamo, Gucci, Armani.

Do brands matter: Brands today speak of quality assurance, giving a sense of comfort and style.

Abhimanyu Pillai

Abhimanyu Pillai is a bit of both an introvert and an extrovert, depending on the occasion. Marketing executive at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Hyderabad, he’s a casual and easy-going person by nature. Open to meeting new people, Abi, as he is fondly called, is comfortable with a small circle of friends who he’s known for years.

Style vs fashion: I believe both have an important part to play as style is the vibe that you come with and fashion is keeping up to date with new trends as well as being aware of classic looks. 

Attention to detail: Detailing is important to me when I go to work, party or a formal occasion; however, if it is just a casual hangout session with friends, I don’t pay attention to detail too much. 

Most fashionable man: Brad Pitt 

Define fashion: Being aware of what clothes and looks suit me and learning to adapt those to the situation.

Men’s jewellery: I feel it can be as important as women’s jewellery when trying to pull off a certain look.

Abraz Ahmed Khan runs a few diagnostic centres under the name of Dr Noshina Diagnostics, and also his real estate company Sarfaraz construction. A very conscientious and focused person by nature, his wardrobe choices reflect his personality flawlessly.

Style vs fashion: Of course style! It’s owned by only you and embracing your style makes you one step closer to being the man you imagine yourself to be. You can talk and vocalise the way you are through your style.

Attention to detail: My details go into the little things that make me unique - just like my cuffs.

Define fashion: It is a way to express and discover yourself. You can challenge yourself to go out of your comfort zone and try new things to give yourself confidence. Being fashionable gives me confidence because I always feel better when I look my best.

Wardrobe essentials: A pair of dark-coloured denim. You can dress jeans up or down. The second one would be my loafers - I dress up according to the colour of the shoes I wear, and my third would be a crisp white shirt.

Favourite luxury brand: Louis Vuitton and Burberry. I like the prints of my LVs; it has different styles and details altogether.

Always striving to make himself better by the day, Muqtedar Amir Khan is a man who’s dressing sense is effortlessly put together. With a knack of knowing what works for him, this businessman, with his fashion sense and good looks, turns heads wherever he goes.

Style vs fashion: I think one’s style translates into their fashion. Normally stylish people pull off the fashion better, so I guess style is more important.

Most fashionable man: Saif Ali Khan

Wardrobe essentials: Comfortable jeans, wide neck tees, white kurta pyjamas, chappals, sunglasses, colognes.

Men’s jewellery: As long as it complements one’s personality. However, I feel it’s not for everyone. But I do wear neck chains.

Attention to detail: It's very important to me. Detailing matters because one error can ruin your credibility. It is important to care because if you don’t, why should
others?
