George Clooney might sell his beautiful Lake Como home amid concerns over the press constantly photographing him and his wife Amal Clooney there. The Hollywood superstar is apparently considering an offer of $100million for the 18-century Villa Oleandra, Page Six reports.
According to the source, Clooney is considering accepting an offer of 100 million dollars for the 18th century beautiful villa in Laglio on Lake Como (about €90 million), almost ten times the amount the actor paid for the property back in 2002.
Clooney often spends his spring and summers at the lakeside Villa Oleandra, where he is known for inviting a number of his famous friends to stay.
'George loves the area and the people who live there, but is conscious of the attention he gets when he is in town,' a source told Page Six. 'He has received a huge offer for the villa, which he is considering, and he would buy another, less accessible property in another area of Italy.'
Clooney is said to be considering purchasing instead another, less accessible property elsewhere in Italy.
