Chocolate mousse cake

Method:

  • The first step to make this delicious cake is , take a bowl, to this add 2 tsp coffee, 2 tbsp water and mix well.
  • In a mixing bowl, add 130 grams butter and whisk thoroughly. Add 130 grams powdered sugar and mix well. To this, add 2 eggs and mix again. Add 1 tsp vanilla essence, 180 grams melted chocolate and mix it. Now add the prepared coffee shot. Add 90 grams all purpose flour and mix it until it becomes a thick batter.
  • Now pour this batter into a baking container.
  • Preheat the oven for about 350 degree Fahrenheit. Bake it for 30 minutes. Remove and allow it to cool.
  • In a bowl, add 55 millilitres of water, 12 grams of gelatine and microwave for 30 seconds. Keep it aside.
  • Take another bowl, add 2 tsp coffee and 2 tbsp water and mix well.
  • In a mixing bowl, add 250 grams whipped cream and prepared coffee shot. Mix it thoroughly.
  • In another bowl, add 1 whole egg and 5 yolks and whisk.  Add 70 grams powdered sugar and mix.
  • Take a deep pan, add some water and bring it to boil. Now place the bowl with egg mixture and on top of it and stir for 3-4 minutes. Then , add the 350 grams melted chocolate and mix.
  • Transfer this mixture into the whipping cream and mix it well. Now add the prepared gelatine.
  • Now spread this mixture on the cake base and spread it well. Refrigerator for 4-5 hours.
  • Serve it cold with some chocolate sprinkles on top.
