Chicken and mushroom curry with coconut milk

Method:

  • First, marinate the chicken pieces in chilli, turmeric powder and some salt. Let it sit for about a few minutes.
  •  Take a heating pan, add garam masala powder, onion, green chilli, shallots and mushrooms. Sauté till they turn brown.
  • Add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and salt. Mix well.
  • Add the chicken pieces in water. Add few curry leaves. Close the lid and cook for five minutes.
  • Now to this add coconut milk and mix well. Once it starts boiling, close the lid and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Lastly, add coriander and curry leaves. Turn off the stove. Enjoy this curry with some rice or roti.
