Bvlgari Opera Prima

Around four years ago, renowned Italian jewellery and luxury goods brand, Bvlgari officially created the most expensive perfume in existence—and they recently sold it. The Bvlgari Opera Prima, designed by master perfumer Daniela Andrier, was sold for a whopping $250,000! The ridiculously priced perfume has now been declared as the most expensive perfume in the world. Bottled as an exquisite falcon, which was created by well-known glassmaker Venini—and inspired by the Roman amphora—the perfume is decorated with 250 carats worth of citrine, 4.45 carats of amethyst, and 25 carats of diamonds. The perfume bottle itself is mind-boggling as it looks more like a piece of jewellery than a perfume bottle. Coming to the good stuff, the perfume is a Mediterranean scent, complemented with notes of lemon, orange blossom, musk, and floral vibes, and only one lucky private client of the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann department store in Paris—where the perfume was on display — will be able to enjoy it. Although the pricing seems to be ridiculous, some of the best things in life come with a crazy price-tag, and if you are a luxury enthusiast, then this precious gem-studded perfume is a must have.   -
