Bollywood movies sweep the 66th National Film Awards!

Bollywood movies like Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Padman, and Uri: The Surgical Strike won big at the 66th National Film Awards! The Chairperson and other jury members submitted a report to Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on 66th National Film Awards.

Padman was declared the Best Film on Social Issues, while Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal jointly received the Best Actor Award for their amazing performances in Andhadhun and Uri: The Surgical Strike. Aditya Dhar won the Best Director for Uri: The Surgical Strike. This movie also bagged the Sound Designer Award (Bishwadeep Dipak Chatterjee) and Best Music Director for background music to Shashwat Sachdev. Badhaai Ho won the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Surekha Sikri for Best Supporting Actress. Padmaavat won big – it won the Best Male Playback Singer – Arijit Singh for the song ‘Binte dil misriya mein’, Best Music Direction – Music Director – Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Best Choreography – Kruti Mahesh Madya and Jyoti Tomar for the song ‘Ghoomar’.     - IANS
