An autobiography about the life and philosophy of Oscar-winning musician A.R. Rahman will be out on stands in August 2018.
A.R Rahman is the vision behind some of the all time biggest hit songs like 'Jai Ho', 'Luka Chuppi' , 'Chinna Chinna Aasai', 'Humma Humma', and many more. A.R Rahman's work is known for integrating Indian classical music with electronic music, world music and traditional orchestral arrangements. He has won numerous awards for his contribution to the music industry.
The novel titled ‘Notes of a Dream: The Authorized Biography of A.R. Rahman’ is written by Krishna Trilok, a Chennai-based writer. The book takes us through a captivating journey of Rahman, who had begun his career as a composer of advertisement jingles and went on to become one of the biggest singer-songwriter, composer and music producer. The book also includes a foreword given by Danny Boyle, director of 'Slumdog Millionaire'. Danny wrote about the human qualities that make Rahman the man he is. The novel also consists of a series of interviews with Rahman and anecdotes from eminent people in his life.
