Instructions

1. Beat eggs until smooth and add ground paste of peeled almonds, pistachios soaked overnight. Mix well and add khowa, butter, Amulspray powder, raisins, cream and ground saffron. Ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed. Add sugar. Pre–heat the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes at 180 degrees.

2. Line a baking tray with banana leaves and grease with butter or ghee. Pour the piyousi mixture into the tray and cook for about 45 to 50 minutes. Garnish with flaked almonds and pistachios. Allow the piyousi to cool for 15 minutes before removing from the tin. Cut into diamond shaped triangles and serve as dessert.
