Top three quick remedies for motion sickness

What's better than discovering the wonders of the world on a memorable road trip? In order to detach from your stressful life, an excellent idea is to hit the road and explore the world. 

While road trips with your friends and family can be fun, at the same time it can trigger a common health issue, travel sickness. If you’re among those who are affected by travel sickness, you can try some of these natural remedies to prevent feeling giddy or nauseous when you’re out and about.

Before the trip: 

Peppermint essential oil- In order to avoid travel sickness, you should try bathing with peppermint oil or you can even drink it. It helps reduce nausea due to its antiemetic and antispasmodic properties. 

Usage: 

Add a few drops to a warm bath. Add one drop to a glass of hot water and drink it.

Apple Cider Vinegar- Apple cider Vinegar is an essential ingredient that you will find in your kitchen cabinet, which helps reduce nausea. 

Usage: Take some lukewarm water, to this add apple cider vinegar and two tablespoons of honey. Drink this solution before hitting the road.

During the trip: 

Lemons- During the trip, make sure you carry some lemons as smelling or sucking on a lemon wedge will help combat this problem. The citric acid present in lemon helps prevent vomiting by relaxing the stomach.

Drink plenty of water- Before and during the journey, you must make sure you drink plenty of water.
