Actor Will Smith revealed that his daughter, Willow Smith really tested him. It all happened when her single “Whip My Hair” blew up and got Willow fame at a very early age. The 50-year-old, who has been blessed with three children with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, revealed that he experienced “mutiny” in his family back in 2012. Then 18-year-old Willow openly admitted to having to learn to “forgive’ her father for the way he handled her fame in the earliest stages. The issues that took place made Smith change his perspective on how he viewed his family, with it even leading him to consider joining social media.
"(I) secretly call (2012) the year of the mutiny. And 2012 was really the year that my family rejected the direction of my leadership. And that was the main thing that happened.," Smith explained.
Will revealed that the way his father, Willard Carroll Smith, Sr., brought him up due to his background in the Air Force was very strict.
"He dealt with the family like a soldier. I was used to the whole family working the family business and being run like a military unit. You follow orders, you have goals, you achieve things and there's punishment from the higher ranks if you don't do what you are told to do," said Smith. Willow’s brother, Jaden Smith is also very popular.
