Good news! The Walt Disney Company is looking at rebooting the superhit Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. According to reports, studio officials have had a meeting with the Deadpool team, which consists of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, in regards of a new movie, as reported by Deadline.com. Jerry Bruckheimer will return once again as the producer, as he did for the earlier movies in the franchise.
It is way too early to assume who is going to return for the reboot, such as actor Johnny Depp who portrayed the iconic role of Jack Sparrow in the first five movies. All he films did extremely well, hitting more than $650 million worldwide, particularly Dead Man’s Chest and On Stranger Tides both topping the $1 billion. Fans are rejoicing because of the news as many are very excited to see the popular franchise back on screens.
