Vanity Fair's Best Dressed of 2015

Taylor Swift, Amal Clooney and Rihanna have been named style icons after landing on Vanity Fair’s International Best-Dressed List.
 
The 2015 list was composed of six different categories as well as a "Hall of Fame" category, which featured just one stylish lady. The categories featuring 10 choices were the Best Dressed Women, Best Dressed Men, Best Dressed Hollywood and Best Dressed Professionals. The two remaining categories, Best Dressed Couples and Best Dressed Originals, featured five or less choices.
 
Samantha Cameron, the first lady of the UK, has taken out the top spot, followed by Taylor Swift. Misty Copeland, principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre rounds out the top three. Amal Clooney and Rihanna have placed fifth and sixth respectively.
 
For the year’s best-dressed men, 65-year-old British actor Bill Nighy led the list, which also featured oil heir Stavros Niarchos III, Apple designer Jony Ive and Britain’s Prince Harry.
 
Actress Alicia Vikander, Eddie Redmayne, Emma Stone, Sienna Miller, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron and Emma Watson were on the Hollywood list.
 
Benedict Cumberbatch and his new wife Sophie Hunter made the couples countdown.
 
The list also featured fashion industry members including Tiffany & Co. designer director Francesca Amfitheatrof, costume designer William Ivey Long, designer Jonathan Ive, Louis Vuitton spokeswoman Alicia Vikander, designer Thom Browne, Met Costume Gala curator Andrew Bolton, couturier Azzedine Alaïa, J. Crew designer Jenna Lyons, designer Caroline Issa, designer Zac Posen, Public School designers Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow, Victoria Beckham, Nick Wooster, Giovanna Battaglia, Peter Manning, Vogue contributor Lauren Santo Domingo and Harold Koda.
