Ingredients                  Qty

urad dal                      150 gm
jeera                           10 gm
onion                           1
green chilli                  10 gm
ginger (chopped)        10 gm
salt                              to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.   Soak the urad dal overnight, and blend until coarse.
2.   Add the remaining ingredients, and mix.
3.   Make flat patties with holes in the centre. Deep-fry until golden brown.
4.   Serve hot with tomato or cabbage chutney.
