1.    High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
HIIT workouts have been gaining popularity among those who love to exercise but do not have enough time to spare (1-2 hrs) each day. These high intensity workouts are adjustable to suit your fitness levels, timings and requirements while promising results in a short span of time. You begin an exercise from a circuit, go at a steady pace for a set period of time and relax for a few seconds before you repeat the exercise or jump into the next exercise in the same circuit. A circuit can be repeated twice or thrice in one go, or you can mix and match and play around with the exercises depending on your body condition each day. They can be done using your own body weight, external weights or you can use your imagination and invent various other apparatus. You can design these workouts yourself in intervals of 50s/10s, 40s/20s, 30s/30s, or 20s/10s depending on your fitness level and one can complete a workout in 30 minutes or less while resting for 2-3 minutes between circuits. To workout on the go, a number of apps are available in the android market, guiding you through HIIT workouts. You can make this a part of your mornings, 4-5 times a week, to kick start your day with high intensity.

2.    Body-Weight Training
Who says you require external weights to gain endurance and muscle strength? Make use of your own body weight for building muscle. Body-Weight Training is the most inexpensive and feasible way to get yourself into shape. Avoiding the use of gym equipments, it ensures that you build healthy muscle with exercises like squats, push-ups, lunges and planks. You learn how to manipulate exercises and angles to strengthen your body while still remaining flexible.
