The much awaited trailer for the next “Harry Potter” prequel film, “Fantastic Beasts : The Crimes Of Grindelwald”, has finally hit the internet. Eddie Redmayne returns as “magizoologist” Newt Scamander and joining him this time are fan favourites Johnny Depp as the infamous dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald, and Jude Law as a young Albus Dumbledore, leaving the fandom in happy tears. The trailer starts off with a shot of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and Albus Dumbledore being questioned about his association with Scamander. The movie picks up where the last one left off, with Grindelwald captured. Now, Grindelwald has escaped prison and the plot centres around Dumbledore who, with the help of Newt, is looking for his powerful friend, hoping to stop him before he can cause more damage.
This David Yates directorial marks the 10th instalment of the mega-hit franchise, but really, is there any such thing as too much “Harry Potter”? Also returning will be Katherine Waterson as Porpetina Goldstein, Dan Fogler as muggle Jacob Kowalski, as well as Ezra Miller as Credence Barebone, who seems to have survived his death in the first part, and Alison Sudol as Queenie, Porpetina’s sister.
The trailer has left quite an impression on fans, with the internet blowing up since the trailer released. The movie is scheduled to release in November 16th, 2018. Potterheads everywhere are excited to dive into the wizarding world once again.
