Tori Teriyaki

Chicken

Tori Teriyaki is a tasty Asian dish made with tender boneless chicken and Teriyaki sauce. Chef de Cuisine Mukesh Sharma from Westin Hyderabad Mindspace has shared this recipe.

Tori Teriyaki

Ingredients

Boneless chicken leg (nugget-sized)
Sesame oil
Soy sauce 
Garlic (optional)
Cooking rice wine
Sake
Ginger (chopped)
Brown sugar  
Teriyaki sauce
Japanese shichmi tograshi powder

Instructions:

  1. Mix the soy sauce, mirin and sake, sesame oil, sugar, and garlic in a bowl. Place the chicken in a bowl and marinate properly. Cover and place in refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
  2. To a hot grill, apply little oil. Place the chicken, and cook on both sides. Once chicken gets tender, apply remaining teriyaki sauce as glaze.
  3. Finish with Japanese shichmi tograshi powder and serve hot.
