There are a few DIY remedies for a glowing, blemish-free skin.
Three DIY homemade remedies:
1. Almond oil: Almond oil specially the one that is extracted from sweet and edible almonds is good for the skin, as it acts like a rejuvenating agent. Almond oil is loaded with Vitamin A, hence it helps to prevent acne and reduces the appearance of blemishes on the skin. This oil is also rich in Vitamin E, which is an effective anti-oxidant. Almond oil is also an excellent ingredient for removing tan and dark circles.
How to use: Take about 2 to 3 drops of almond oil and warm it up. First clean your face with warm water and clean it well with a dry cloth. Now take the warm almond oil and gently massage all over your face. Leave it on until the oil is absorbed into the skin. Then wash your face with Luke warm water. For best results, repeat this process on a regular basis.
2. Green tea: Green tea is rich in antioxidant as it helps fight against damage causing radicals. The tannis and antioxidants present aids in reducing dark circles and puffiness. Green tea also is an effective ingredient for removing impurities from your pores and moistures the skin.
How to use it: First make some green tea and let it fully infuse. Now let the green tea cool down and take a cotton and dip it in. Now take this cotton ball and rub it gently on your face. Repeat this process twice a day for good results.
3. Orange peel: Orange is loaded with Vitamin C, which relives acne and refreshes the skin. Orange also gives a nice glow to your skin. It contains calcium, which rejuvenates the dead skin cells.
How to use it: Take a few pieces of orange peel and to this you can add some rose water. Blend it until it becomes a paste, now apply this on your face and leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse it off with water.
Note: Instead of rose water, you can add turmeric, sandalwood, lemon, yogurt or honey
