Sanjay Dutt and Farhan Akhtar will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in a film, co-produced by Ajay Devgan and Abhinav Shukla. The film will be directed by Nishikant Kamat.
The untitled film is a remake of Tamil black comedy-action-crime-drama “Jigarthanda”, which is about the story of an aspiring director, who wants to make a film on the life of a ruthless gangster and in the attempt to do so he gets into trouble. Sanjay will be seen playing the role of a gangster, while Farhan will play the role of an aspiring director in the film.
The shooting for the film will commence from the end of this year.
Sanjay Dutt will also be seen in “Bhoomi”, which is slated to release on 22nd September 2017, “Marco Bhau”, “Torbaaz”, and Mahesh Manjrekar’s untitled comedy film. Farhan Akhtar will be seen in “Lucknow Central” and “The Fakir Of Venice”.
